Privacy Policy

NetMargin does not collect any data. Not your product data, not your costs, not the pages you visit, not usage statistics. There is no exception to this and no setting to change.

What we collect

Nothing. Specifically, NetMargin does not collect:

• Personal information — no name, email, or account of any kind
• The ASINs, products, or Amazon pages you view
• The prices, costs, or margins you enter
• Analytics, usage metrics, crash reports, or performance traces
• Cookies, advertising identifiers, or fingerprints

How that is possible

NetMargin has no backend. The fee table ships inside the app as a static file, and every calculation runs in your browser using only the values on screen. The app makes no network requests to us or to anyone else — there is no server for it to talk to.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run a calculation. You will see no outbound requests.

The report you upload in Bulk analysis

The Bulk analysis page asks for your Fee Preview report from Seller Central. The word "upload" does not really apply: the file is never transmitted anywhere. Your browser reads it from your disk, the calculation runs on the page, and the result is rendered locally.

The contents of that report — your SKUs, ASINs, prices, dimensions and the fees Amazon charges you — exist only in the memory of that browser tab. Close or reload the tab and they are gone. We never receive them, and there is no server that could.

The only thing that outlives the tab is the cost per unit you type in, saved in localStorage on your device so you do not have to enter it again. The CSV you export is generated in the browser and saved straight to your downloads folder.

You can verify all of this: open the Network tab of your developer tools before dropping the file. No request is made.

Where your inputs are stored

So you do not have to retype your numbers, the web app saves your last form values in your browser's localStorage, and the Chrome extension saves them in chrome.storage.local. Both are local to your device. Neither is transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the extension removes them permanently, and we never have a copy.

The Chrome extension

The extension reads the Amazon product page you already have open in order to pre-fill the price, dimensions, weight, and category. That data is read in the page, used to fill the form, and discarded. It is never transmitted, logged, or stored beyond the local form values described above.

The extension requests the minimum permissions required to do this and does not automate browsing or crawl Amazon's catalog.

Third parties

There are none. No analytics provider, no error tracker, no advertising network, no CDN for fonts or scripts. All assets are served from netmargin.app itself.

Our web host records standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path) as an unavoidable part of serving the site, as any web server does. These logs are not used to build profiles, are not linked to any calculation, and are not shared.

Payments

The paid plan is not live yet. When it launches, billing will be handled by a third-party payment processor that will receive only what it needs to process the payment. We will update this policy before that happens, and it will still be true that your product data never leaves your browser.

Children

NetMargin is a business tool intended for Amazon sellers and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. We will not weaken the core promise — no data collection — without saying so plainly.
